    P90X is a great program a good for the results you want since you are trying to lose weight and build lean muscle make sure you use the correct plan.After your first 30 days you should be doing doubles which is more time consuming that what you have listed.     This will be cutting and bulking at the same time. this usually is not done. But it looks like you had a slight layoff from working out so it will work for you. Every one is different so I will give you a time range based on results I have seen. Also you lists no goal weight. On average 3 to 6 months the reason I say that is the second picture appears to have alot of lean muscle added. You will look good after 90 days but you might not have all the bulk musle you desire. If after 90 days you want more muscle change workout to the classic or upgrade to another P 90X or Insanity

    Eating healthy does not always lead to weight loss. Their are other factors. Calories play a role and so does metabolism. If you eat less calories than you burn during the day over time you will loose weight your calorie range will work. Every ones metabolism is different. If you check my sources you can find what one of the 4 metabolic body types you fall into which will dictate the type of foods you are drawn to and the types of foods your body has a problem digesting.

    I noticed you said protien shake for your goals you should use a meal replacement shake. Before starting on any change of diet get the advise of your doctor. To help your weight loss it s advisable to also include an exercise program you can keep up with. Your choice is good but it might be hard to get used to at first. If you can’r keep up then step down to a different workout like power 90 for fiest 90 days then use P90X. This will slowly help you make a lifestyle change. Also by working out you will increase your metabolism by gaining lean muscle. This will help you burn more fat at a resting state. If you do not make a lifestyle change while loosing weight to maintain your weight loss you will contiinue to need the shake. You should have more time in your day to add a short workout because the time to prepare and eat the meal is now out of your schedule.
